about jo

jo was born in Portsmouth UK in 1963. she studied art at Portsmouth College of art and Design and is also a qualified riding instructor.

Having studied equine anatomy at warwickshire college of agriculture, her knowledge of the anatomical structure of the horse is apparent in her work.

as a friend of the society of equestrian artists, jo's work has been selected for the annual exhibition at the mall galleries in london and also for the "horse in art" exhibition at obsidian art in stoke mandeville u.k.

jo is happy to undertake commissions. all that's required are three or four good clear photographs of the subject. these can be sent via email or regular snail mail.

artwork is completed within three weeks and left unframed for personal taste.
